Abstract
Too many children and adolescents are not happy with their lives. Unfortunately, many professional interventions are falling short. There is a call for new epistemological, organizational, and ethical approaches that will exceed our habit of separating contexts, which should be combined. Fragmentations between children, parents, professionals, and society are disfavoring children and leads to inadequate solutions and static perceptions of problems as inherent the child. This presentation addresses, how we can position ourselves in a way that creates mutual care and vitality.
What are the conditions in which mutual learning and movement can take place? Human relations have untold possibilities of finding new ways – together. Through curiosity, anthropological approaches and transcontextual thinking we can learn together. By using warm data, we will find new angles to look from. Children and adolescents have important matters on their mind. Understanding that children are not the problem, they show us the problem led us to the importance of double descriptions and meta- assessments as basis for useful positions, where we can combine and link economy, education, culture, and family life.
The presentation introduces “Ethical based practice” as an alternative to our cultures focus on evidence-based practice. This approach bridges the gap between symptoms
